Geothermal District heating
This problem has been shifted to a renewable resource. The system harnesses the thermal energy of the water and, thanks to the use of water-to-water heat pumps, equips heating and domestic hot water for the citizens. The project has developed a significant environmental and social impact on its community.
Moreover, the complete estimated reduction of CO2 emission is remarkable, being around 650 tons per year in comparison to the previous natural gas system. In addition, the electricity for the geothermal facility comes from 100% renewable sources.
